Coopersburg, PA (September 9, 2009) – Lighting control manufacturer Lutron Electronics is announcing the winners of its 2009 Excellence Awards competition.
Winners were announced at a ceremony at the
Georgia Aquarium on Wednesday, Sept. 9, in conjunction with the Custom
Electronics Design and Installation Association (CEDIA) Expo in
Atlanta, Georgia.
The competition was created as a way to recognize
the industry’s best Lutron lighting and shade control projects. Close
to 50 installation companies have been honored since its inception in
2003.
Nine awards were distributed
- Best Green Project- Chesley Electric, Novato, CA
- Best Retrofit Project Using RF Products- Technical Comfort, Laguna Nigel, CA
- Best Total Light Control Project- Visual Acoustics, Miami, FL
- Best Shade Project- Ogren Electronics, Eagle River, WI
- Most Unique Application- Gramophone, Timonium, MD
- Best International Project- Equram Licht Grup, Bucharest, Romania
- Best Integration with Third-Party Equipment- Home Control Solutions, Santa Barbara, CA
- Best Showroom / Experience Center- Starr Systems Design, Baltimore, MD
- Best Use of Lighting Control in a Home Theater / Media Room- LaScala, Vancouver, BC, Canada
Winners will receive a recognition award and will have a logo added to their company listing on the Lutron website (www.lutron.com).
